I am presenting at the September Manchester D365PPUG, an all-day in-person event focused on Dynamics 365, Power Platform, CRM, and ERP.

The day brings the community together for practical sessions and conversations across the Microsoft business applications ecosystem. My session is about recognising when a Power Automate flow has outgrown its comfort zone, and how a small amount of pro-code can make the resulting solution easier to understand and maintain.

Untapped Power of Custom Connectors: Helping Makers Take Their First Steps Beyond Low Code

Power Automate is an incredibly effective low-code platform, and for many scenarios, flows are all you need. But as solutions grow, makers can end up maintaining flows with dozens or hundreds of steps for validation, transformation, and other focused pieces of logic.

This session explores how adding a small amount of pro-code can make a solution simpler rather than more complex. Using practical C# techniques and custom connectors, I will show how to move that complexity into a small, reusable integration layer while keeping the maker experience clean and approachable.

This is not a coding workshop and assumes no prior C# experience. The goal is to build confidence and give makers a practical mental model for recognising when a small step beyond low code can make a Power Automate solution easier to build, understand, and support.
